Ms. Sujata Das Ms. Debjani Sahu ....for the State This is an application for expeditious hearing of the case being case no. C 367 of 2019 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Court at Barasat, 24 Parganas North.

It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed the case in the year 2019 and opposite party nos. 1 and 2 have already appeared in this case. This case has been dragged at the behest of the opposite parties causing the delay in disposal of the case. Having regard to the innocuous nature of the prayer of the petitioner, I dispose of the revisional application by giving a direction upon the learned Magistrate, First Court at Barasat, 24-Parganas North, to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 within a period of four months from

date without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties.

This application has been disposed of without giving any notice to the opposite parties since they will not be prejudiced by this order.

Accordingly, CRR 1584 of 2021 is disposed of. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the website of this court.
