Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the victim girl, both of whom were minors. They have subsequently married and a child has been born to them who is about eight months old at present.

Learned counsels for the State and the defacto complainant oppose the prayer.

Considering the material on record, particularly the fact that the petitioner and the victim have married and a

child is born in the said wedlock this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to provision under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within two weeks from date.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
