1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to previous grudge.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of witnesses including the victims which implicated the petitioner. In fact, in the statement before the learned Magistrate, there is specific allegation against the present petitioner. There are two injure reports showing infliction of injury on a vital part of the body like head, one causing scalp laceration and hematoma. The assault was allegedly caused with metallic rod and bamboo stick.

3. Considering the above, the other incriminating materials available in the case diary and the role ascribed to the

present petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
