It appears from the statement of the defacto complainant/private opposite party that the private opposite does not intend to proceed with the matter any further since the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. In view of the above, the proceeding being G.R.Case No. 671 of 2024 corresponding to Haroa Police Station Case No. 74 of 2024 dated February 23, 2024 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Basirhat, North 24-Parganas is quashed.

The petitioner be set at liberty at once and discharged from his bail bond.
