Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed an application before the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Sagar, P.O. - Rudranagar, P.S. - Sagar, District - South 24Parganas way back on 27.03. 2024 but till date the representation has not been considered by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Sagar, P.O. - Rudranagar, P.S. - Sagar, District - South 24-Parganas being the respondent no.7.

Learned counsels appearing for the State and private respondents are present.

Perused the application and heard the parties at length.

The Block Land and Land Reforms Officer being the respondent no.7 in this application is requested to

consider the application of the petitioners dated 27.03.2024 within a period of eight weeks from date after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and pass a reasoned order after allowing them to produce necessary documents before the respondent no.7. The respondent no.7 is also requested to communicate the said order to the petitioners at an earliest. The writ petition being WPA 13177 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
