Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are of advanced age and that the daughter in law of the petitioners is making life miserable for the petitioners. Learned advocate for the State submits that there are case and counter-case between the private parties. There is a proceeding under section 498A of the IPC against the petitioners. The police enquired into the complaints lodged. The complaints of the petitioners were registered as First Information Reports and that the investigations with regard thereto are ongoing. In such circumstances, the police taking steps on the complaints received by them as noted above, further interference by a writ court is not called for.

WPA 12721 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
