Mr. Dilip Kumar Samanta, Mr. Biswapriya Samanta ....for the petitioner Mr. Uttiya Ray, Mr. Arnab Mondal ....for the respondent nos. 6 to 12 The Assistant Commissioner of Revenue & Deputy Excise Collector, Sadar Excise Range, Purba Bardhaman has filed a report dated January 24, 2023. The same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that several raids and enquiries over a period of time including surprise visits were conducted at the said premises and no evidence of sale of liquor from the said premises was found.

The said Collector shall continue to maintain regular vigil thereat and ensure that there is no illegal sale of liquor occurring from the said premises. The petitioner may pursue other remedies in law against the private respondents as may be available.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
