During pendency of the writ petition, an order was passed by the District Magistrate and Collector and Chairman, RTA, Nadia on 8th February, 2022, rejecting the prayer of the petitioner for issuance of permanent route permit and suggesting modified routes for plying of the auto-rickshaw of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has instructions not to proceed with the present writ petition any further.

In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 11355 of 2022 is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
