Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, three persons were enlarged on anticipatory bail by the Jurisdictional Court. He submits that, there is no evidence implicating the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the petitioner is named in the First Information Report (FIR) as well as in the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.).

The persons, who were enlarged on anticipatory bail as informed to Court, are not named in the FIR as the accused.

The petitioner is named in the FIR as well as in the 161 Cr.P.C. statement.

The investigations involve murder.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 2952 of 2022 is dismissed.
