Ms. Jamuna Saha, Mr. Uttam Kr. De ...for the petitioners Mr. Tarak Karan ...for the State Petitioners are aggrieved as the representation dated 2nd May, 2023 addressed to the Inspector-inCharge, Rampurhat Police Station was not considered. The said representation was made as on 30th April, 2023. Petitioners claim that they have been restrained by the private respondents, it has additionally been complained that the private respondents were armed with deadly weapons.

Grievance of the petitioners is that inspite of informing the police authorities they did not take any steps.

Mr. Karan, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report prepared by the Inspector-in-Charge Rampurhat Police Station. The report reflects that proceedings have been drawn

up under Section 107 of the Cr.P.C. It has also been stated that there is a long standing land dispute. As such, as and when the police authorities were required to render their assistance the same was made available. In case the petitioners are facing with similar inconvenience petitioner will file a fresh representation as substantial time has lapsed in the meantime. Police authorities would consider the representation in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 12089 of 2023 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
