Heard learned counsels for the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 390 days. Though he has been referred to as the husband of the victim there was no matrimonial relationship between the victim and the petitioner. Charge sheet has been submitted. Further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record. The petitioner appears to be the husband of the victim who poured kerosene on the victim who subsequently died of burn injuries. The dying declaration of the victim implicates the petitioner.

Considering the material on record prima facie connecting the petitioner to the alleged crime, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
