Mr. Akash Dutta, Ms. Disha Roy ...for the Petitioners Dr. Madhusudan Saha Roy ...for CESC 20-06-2025 AKG Ct. 15 The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking shifting of a pillar box installed by Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) to another suitable position. The petitioners submit that the relevant pillar box is causing obstruction to free ingress and egress of the petitioners to their residential building.

Learned advocate appearing for CESC submits that the petitioners have made a representation before CESC on April 30, 2025, in this regard. In response to such letter, the petitioners have been asked to apply a fresh through online mode by a letter dated May 6, 2025.

In view of the aforesaid, I grant liberty upon the petitioners to make an online application before CESC within a period of one week from date.

If such application is made, the same shall be considered by CESC in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 12572 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
