The petitioner's prayer is for preservation of CCTV footage in respect of the incidents relating to 16th February, 2025 at around 9.00-9.30 am at the said Police Outpost. However, the representation was not responded by police authorities and, thereafter, the petitioner

approached this Court with the present writ petition.

Learned advocate also submits that the CCTV footage itself would reflect the injuries which have been inflicted and the manner in which the petitioner has been implicated in a false case.

Learned advocate for the State submits that there were two cases: one, being Bhadreswar PS Case No. 66 of dated 20.02.2025 which was registered on the basis of a written complaint of one Aaqil Jahan; another case being Bhadreswar P.S. Case No. 98 of 2025 dated 12.03.2025 which was registered on the basis of a complaint of one Sabia Khatoon, wife Irshad Ahamed. In both the cases, on conclusion of investigation charge-sheet has been submitted before the learned jurisdictional court.

Learned advocate for

respondent nos. 3 and 4 submits that since no affidavits have been invited, other allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

In view of the learned Magistrate already in seisin of the issues regarding the criminal cases, I grant liberty to the petitioner to take out an appropriate application before the learned Magistrate in seisin criminal case being Bhadreswar P.S. Case No. 66 of 2025 dated 20.02.2025. The learned Magistrate would call for a report and, thereafter, consider the prayer(s) in accordance with law preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of filling of such application. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 12275 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
