Affidavit of service filed by the petitioners is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were assigned certain work by the Assistant Engineer, PHE Directorate, Purulia in connection with the Panchayat Election 2023 and completed the said work in terms of the work orders issued in their favour. Completion certificate has not been issued in favour of the petitioners and amount due to the petitioners has also not been disbursed. The petitioners submitted representations before the concerned authority on 2nd September, 2025 and 22nd September, 2025 respectively and seek consideration of the same.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the Executive Engineer, Purulia Division, Public Health Engineering Directorate, being the 6th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners dated

2nd September, 2025 and 22nd September, 2025 within four weeks from the date of the communication of this order and take necessary steps for disbursement of the amount the petitioners are entitled to subject to compliance of all requisite formalities by them.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
