The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the information which was furnished before the Officer-in-Charge, Rahara Police Station was not acted upon.
Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that pursuant to the information received, Rahara Police Station Case No. 155 of 2025 dated 16.06.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS, 2023 and the investigation of the said case is in progress. As the investigation has commenced, police authorities would ensure that the present petitioner is not subjected to any inconveniences at the behest of the private respondents. To that effect, if any further information is furnished by the
petitioner, police authorities would promptly take steps in accordance with law and also surveillance be kept, so that no untoward incident further results.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 12603 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
