Kutub Uddin .....for the State In this application, the petitioner has sought for an order directing the District Magistrate, 24 Parganas (North) to renew the gun licence of the petitioner.

The case diary has been produced. The records suggest that initial gun licence that has been produced by the petitioner for renewal is a fake one. The investigation is being carried out and the charge sheet is yet to be submitted.

In that view of the matter, there is no scope to entertain this application at this stage.
