The writ petitioner claims to have qualified in the Teacher Eligibility Test (Upper Primary) in the year 2015, result whereof was published on 14th September, 2016. He has been silent till the year 2019, when he made an application to the Chairman of the West Bengal School Service Commission for appointment as upper primary teacher.

This Court notes that the petitioner has sought relief before the High Court four years after qualifying the Teacher Eligibility Test (Upper Primary). In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
