In Re: CRAN 3 of 2024

1. This is an application at the instance of the revisionist praying for passing appropriate order. In support of the petition under consideration learned Advocate for the revisionist submits before this Court that on account of the dismissal of the instant revisional application the order of bail as passed in favour of the present revisionist on August 20, 2003 and which was extended time to time stood revoked as a result whereof the present petitioner was taken into custody by the jurisdictional Magistrate in connection with G.R. Case No. 1019 of 1996 wherein the present revisionist/petitioner was convicted for the offence committed by him under Section 392 IPC and sentence to suffer R.I. for three years and find of Rs. 3,000/- I.D. to R.I. another three months.

2. It is submitted further that considering the period of detention the present petitioner may be enlarged on bail on any condition whatsoever.

3. Ms. Faria Hossain, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits before this Court that an appropriate order may be

passed considering the conduct as well as the period of detention of the present revisionist/petitioner.

6. The present revisionist, Chepu Mahato may find bail of Rs. 500 with one registered surety of like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Purulia in connection with G.R. Case No. 1019 of 1996.

7. Accordingly, the interim application being CRAN 3 of 2024 is disposed of.

8. Let the matter be listed on July 16, 2024 under the heading "Criminal Revision" for final disposal.

9. Learned Advocate for the petitioner is hereby requested to supply copies of the depositions of PWs and DWs, if there be any, as recorded in G.R. Case No. 1019 of 1996 to Ms. Faria Hossain, learned Additional Public Prosecutor preferably within a week from today.
