The petitioner has prayed for expeditious trial relating to G. R. Case No. 2196 of 2022 arising out of Contai P. S. case No. 388 of 2022 dated 27.09.2022.

Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Partha Pratim Das, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Record of the revisional application reflects that the chargesheet has already been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Having considered the plight that the petitioner is under suspension, I direct the learned trial court to expedite the process of consideration of charges preferably in course of this year and

thereafter fix at least one date in each and every month so that the trial can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties. All efforts must be taken to conclude the trial in accordance with the aforesaid directions.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 1855 of 2023 is disposed of. All Pending applications, if any, are disposed of accordingly. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
