This Writ Petition styled as Public Interest Litigation has been filed alleging irregularity in allotment of fair price shop. It has not been disputed that the said allotment has been questioned by an aggrieved person by a separate writ petition and the same is pending. The petitioner claims to be a resident of the same area. When the aggrieved person has already filed a writ petition before this Court and the Learned Single Bench was seized of the matter, we find no reason to interfere with the writ petition as a Public Interest Litigation.

However, if at all, the petitioner wants to support the case of the said writ petition, it is well open to him to do so.

With the above observation, the writ petition is dismissed.
