The issue is relating to grant of benefits of revision of pay and allowances which was not paid to the writ petitioner at material point of time though similarly circumstanced other candidates are receiving such benefits which triggered preferring of the present writ petition. This Writ petition has been heard on number of days when the learned advocates representing the

West Bengal Central School Service Commission and the State respondents were directed to obtain instructions. Today, Dr. Patra, learned advocate representing the Commission has submitted on instruction that vide resolution dated 1st October, 2021, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission has decided to extend the benefit of pay and allowances as mentioned in memo No.

6446(65)-F(P2), dated 29th November, 2019 to the writ petitioner. The communication memo dated 5th October, 2021 containing the extract of the said resolution dated 1st October, 2021 issued by the Secretary of the Commission addressed to the writ petitioner is placed before this Court and the same is taken on record.

In view of the said resolution dated 1st October, 2021 whereby the benefit of revision of pay and allowances has been decided to be granted to the petitioner, Mr. Bera, learned advocate representing the writ petitioner prays for disposal of the writ petition.

Mr. Dutta, learned advocate, representing the State respondents submits that if bills are prepared and forwarded to concerned authority of the State then the same shall be processed in accordance with law.

In view of the decision taken by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to extend the benefit of revision of pay and allowances to the writ petitioner, no order need be passed on this writ petition.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned Advocates for parties on usual undertakings.
