The present application for cancellation of bail was filed in connection with Rabindra Nagar Police Station Case No. 16 of 2008 dated 05.02.2008.

Record reflects that the bail was granted on 02.04.2008 by the learned A.C.J.M, Alipore, South 24 Parganas. Mr. Sujan Chatterjee, learned advocate who ordinarily appears for the State is directed to appear in this matter. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities in due course.

Having regard to the period of time which has elapsed in the meantime, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for at this belated stage.

Accordingly, the present application for cancellation of bail being CRM 5262 of 2008 is dismissed.
