This writ petition is filed with the substantive prayer for issuing direction for disposal of the representation dated 4th May, 2023 addressed to several officials attached to Kolkata Municipal Corporation including Executing Engineer (Building).

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that in spite of receiving representation dated 4th May, 2023, being Annexure "P-6" at page 40 of the writ petition, by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, particularly, the respondent nos.4 and 5, representation was not considered, till date. 3.
Learned advocate on behalf of the State is also present.

Given facts and circumstances, I find that the representation dated 4th May, 2023 has not yet been disposed of in spite of lapse of a considerable period of time.

The Executive Engineer (Building) attached to Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Borough No.
XV, Gardenreach Unit, E/3, Circular Gardenreach Road, Kolkata - 700024, West Bengal, is directed to dispose of the representation dated 4th May, 2023 submitted by the petitioners by a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the concerned parties, including the petitioners, within four weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order which shall also be communicated to the petitioners within one week thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ application stands disposed of.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
