Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that based on complaint lodged with the concerned police authority criminal prosecution was initiated being Deganga P.S. Case No.397 of 2026 dated 12th June, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS, 2023.

In view of steps taken by the concerned police authority by initiating aforesaid criminal prosecution, at this stage, no further order need be passed on this writ petition since prayer is made in this writ petition for registering FIR based on complaint lodged.

However, concerned police authorities are directed to take the investigation in connection with the aforesaid criminal prosecution to its logical conclusion at an early date by submitting report before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 5.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
