Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

None appears for the State.

The non-cooperation on behalf of the State is placed on record.

Despite the Court requesting the Public Prosecutor and the Additional Public Prosecutors on numerous occasions to ensure that the State is represented when the matters are called on the State is unrepresented in most of the matters called on today.

It appears from the records that the commercial quantity of contraband was seized from the possession of the petitioner. There is hardly any change in circumstances subsequent to the order rejecting the prayer for bail on March 25, 2021. Therefore, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. The order dated March 25, 2021 expressed the desire that the jurisdictional Court should proceed with the stage of consideration of charge and trial and take all efforts so that the same is concluded within a reasonable period of time. Such desire and direction are reiterated in this order. It is expected

that the Court in seisin of the proceeding will adhere to the order of this Court.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail, C.R.M. 5295 of 2021, is rejected.
