This Court vide order dated 24.06.2025 had already rejected the contention of the petitioner qua deducting 10 per cent of the pension from the deceased employee's account.

The only contention which was left open was regarding the fact that whether the petitioner has received the gratuity amount due and payable towards him.

Learned Counsel for the respondentCorporation has filed a report by way of an affidavit wherein it has been recorded that the deceased employee had received an amount of Rs.1,40,361/- towards gratuity on 26.04.2004. Learned Counsel for the petitioner contradicts the said stand though he has

not brought anything on record to substantiate any contrary argument.

In view of the categorical stands taken by the respondent-Corporation, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

The present writ petition is disposed of.
