Report filed by the State is also taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner organizes an annual religious Jalsa every years at the place in question. This year they want to ventilate the grievance regarding paucity of burial grounds. An application was made before the police authority for necessary permission, but no response has been forthcoming. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. The petitioner failed to produce relevant documents like the NOC to be obtained from the land owner and the previous year's permission. They have been asked to produce such documents.

Let the petitioner make a fresh representation annexing relevant documents like NOC from the land owner if it is a private land. However, it is not always necessary to produce the previous year's permission. Let the same be done positively by 10.5.2024. In the event, such fresh representation along with copies of document is made by 10.05.2024, the concerned police authority shall decide the issue for grant of permission to

the petitioner to hold such Jalsa positively by Monday i.e., 13.05.2024.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. Parties shall act on a server copy downloaded from the official website of this Court.
