Anticipatory bail to the petitioner was extended on December 7, 2021 in respect of Kolaghat Police Station Case No. 58 of 2021 dated February 16, 2021 under Sections 376/417 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that such police case now stands transferred to Panskura Police Station as Panskura Police Station Case No. 139 of 2021 dated March 20, 2021. Therefore, the jurisdictional court is not accepting the bond in terms of the order dated December 7, 2021.

Learned advocate appearing for the State does not raise any objection to the modification sought for.

In such circumstances, the order granting anticipatory bail dated December 7, 2021 should be construed to be grant of anticipatory bail in respect of Panskura Police Station Case No. 139 of 2021 dated March 20, 2021 under Section 376/417 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of.
