Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. He further submits that the police filed charge-sheet. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required.

Learned advocate for the State draws the attention of the court to the statements of the co-accused and the contention in the case diary. Considering the materials in the case diary, gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as appearing from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 5375 of 2021 is dismissed. (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.) (Debangsu Basak, J.)
