1. This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendant no.3/petitioner herein praying for a direction upon the learned Judge, 6th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta to dispose of an application under Order 7 rule 11 of the Code of Civil Procedure filed in Title Suit No.373 of 2022 expeditiously.

2. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to pass any direction to serve notice upon the opposite parties. However, learned advocate on record for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward copies of this revisional application upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial Judge.

3. From the order sheet appended to this revisional application, this Court finds that 25th of June, 2025 has been fixed for hearing of the application under Order 7 rule 11 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

4. In the light of the submissions made by learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 1927 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, 6th Bench, City Civil Court at Calcutta, to take up the hearing of the application under Order 7 rule 11 of the Code of Civil Procedure on the next date fixed, that is, on 25th June,

2025, if the same is otherwise ready for hearing, and to make an endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, but preferably within a period of three months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

5. Parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

6. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of necessary formalities.
