Petitioner, State and the de facto complainant are represented.

The Post Mortem Report suggests that, death of the victim was by reason of hanging, ante mortem in nature. There is a statement recorded by the son of the victim, under Sections 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, where, he stated that, the petitioner used to frequently visit the residence of the victim. The victim used to ask the petitioner to leave. The petitioner never used to leave the place whereupon victim used to cry.

The role of the petitioner in the incident requires investigation given the materials in the Case Diary particularly, the statement of the son of the victim.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 1650 of 2024 is disposed of.
