Petitioners Mr. Debapriya Majumder ...for the petitioners Mr. Ramashis Mukherjee Mr. Amartya Mohan Bhattacharyya ...for the State Memo of evidence filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. There are case and counter case and both sides sustained injuries.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the injury report which shows that the assault resulted in rupture of globe of left eye of one of the victims. The assault was made with iron rod. He also refers to the statements of the victims and the independent eye-witnesses. He submits that the anticipatory bail application of two others similarly circumstanced co-accused was rejected by this Court on 11.06.2026 in CRM (A) 1484 of 2026 was rejected.

Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
