Banerjee) This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the respondent no. 1 in Misc. Case (Arb) No. 10 of 2023 (renumbered as 63 of 2023) praying for a direction upon the learned Judge, Commercial Court at Alipore to dispose of the miscellaneous case expeditiously. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite parties before the learned trial judge.

The miscellaneous case is a proceeding under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

In view thereof, the learned Judge, Commercial Court at Alipore is requested to make an endeavour to see that such miscellaneous case is disposed of as expeditiously as possible, preferably by the end of December, 2025, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
