The petitioner has prayed for postgraduate degree pay scale after having acquired postgraduate degree with due permission of the school authority. Admittedly, the petitioner joined a pass course post.

The school has forwarded the request of the writ petitioner for undertaking the post graduate degree examination to the DI of Schools(SE), Uttar Dinajpur as well as for higher post graduate scale of pay.

Under these circumstances, the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), Uttar Dinajpur shall consider the school's representation on behalf of the petitioner dated 26th February, 2008, and shall decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
