Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his client is now in a position to repay the dues of the CESC Limited. In that view of the matter, upon payment of all dues and late payment charges and replenishment of the security deposit and also payment of reconnection charges, the electricity connection to the petitioner may be restored by the licensee. It is expected that reconnection to the petitioner shall be made as expeditiously as possible after receiving all payment from the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
