1. We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. It appears that in spite of several warnings issued since August 14, 2018 for correcting the behaviour of the writ petitioner, which, inter alia, include use of filthy language and mis-behaviour in intoxicated condition during working hours, he did not mend, as a result thereof the service of the writ petitioner was not renewed and the same was challenged in the writ petition.

3. The writ petitioners have admitted in his representation that he consumed liquor during office hours.

4. We are in agreement with the observation made by the learned Single Judge that this kind of conduct is not conducive and allowing the writ petitioner to give any indulgence with office discipline.

5. On such consideration, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the learned Single Judge. The

appeal fails.

6. The appeal and the connected application are, accordingly, dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
