Leave is granted to the petitioner to correct the writ petition in course of the day.

The petitioner is claimed to be the widow daughter of Chaitanya Charan Rana, who was an Assistant Teacher in Ramnagar Atul Vidyapith under DPSC Hooghly. The father of the petitioner retired from service on 30th November, 1993 and he was receiving pension. The father of the petitioner died on 11th October, 1998. Thereafter the petitioner's mother, Tararani Rana receiving pension until her death on 25th September, 2021. The petitioner's husband died on 7th August, 2016.

In these circumstances, the District Inspector of Schools, Hooghly and Paschim Medinipur shall conduct necessary inquiries on the legal status of the petitioner and forward a report to the DPPG, West Bengal.

The DPPG, West Bengal upon being satisfied with the report of the District Inspector of Schools, shall issue PPO to the petitioner, if found eligible. 5.

In the event of issuance of PPO, arrears of pension from October 2021 till the date of issuance of PPO shall be paid to the petitioner, however, without any interest. Let current pension be started upon issuance of PPO to the petitioner.

Let aforesaid exercise be completed by the District Inspector of Schools and the DPPG, West Bengal within a period of two months from date. 7.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
