By this writ petition, the writ petitioners prayed for a direction upon the respondent/authorities to allow them to participate in the interview scheduled to be held on 17.05.2008 for filling up of the subject post.

By efflux of time the writ petition has become infructuous. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of without any order.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
