Mr. A. Sinha ....for the State The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Sinha, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment should be regularized by the concerned authority.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the present case was initiated in the year 2016 and thereafter charge-sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional Court and charge was framed. However, till date examination of the first witness is continuing. Prosecution has relied upon four witnesses in the present case. Having regard to the anxiety Expressed by the petitioner regarding delay in progress of the trial. I am of the view that the same is justified. The learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Court, Alipore on and from the next date would fix at least one date in a month so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to any of the parties. All efforts should be taken by

the State to produce the materials, exhibits and document on the date fixed for the examination witnesses. With the above observations, CRR 1865 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, is consequently disposed of.
