1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the sister-in-law and the brother-in-law of the alleged victim/de-facto complainant. The parents-in-law who are standing on similar footing were granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 22.05.2025 in CRM (A) 1691 of 2025. Earlier, the prime accused being the husband was arrested and was later granted statutory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail, but submits that the petitioners stand substantially on similar footing as the parents-in-law.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the alleged role ascribed to the petitioners, the facts that the substantially similarly circumstanced co-accused were

granted anticipatory bail and that the charge-sheet has already been submitted, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioners.

4. In the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and the petitioners shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
