For the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there was a love affair between the victim and one Sohel, a co accused. Petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record including the statement of victim girl where she stated all the accused persons including the petitioner had sexually abused her. In view of the gravity of the offence and prima face involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. (Bivas Pattanayak, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi J.)
