The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher of the subject Sanskrit (H/PG) at Gotan Subodh Memorial High School (HS), District: Purba Burdwan.

The petitioner applied for general transfer through 'Utsashree Portal' and the same was allowed, in consequence thereof, the West Bengal Central School Service Commission ('the Commission' in short) had recommended transfer of the petitioner to Batanagar High School, District: 24-Paarganas (South)but she could not join in the said school for lack of vacancy in the relevant subject.

The petitioner had applied before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, the respondent no. 3 herein for re-recommendation.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the said application has not yet been attended.

The respondent no. 3 is directed to consider and dispose of the said application as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. W.P.A. 13211 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been invited from the respondents, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by them. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
