The subject-matter of challenge relates to quashing of the First Information Report arising out of Jadavpur Police Station Case No.426 of 2020 dated 25.12.2020 under Sections 302/ 201/ 498A/ 406/ 34/ 120B of the Indian Penal Code as also the order dated 17.12.2020 passed by the learned A.C.J.M., Alipore, South 24 Parganas. Records of the revisional application reflect that the case was initiated in the year 2020 pursuant to a direction passed by the learned A.C.J.M., Alipore. More than two years have passed since the initiation of the investigation, this Court has not been appraised regarding the present stage of the proceedings.

Having considered the same, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for, at this stage.

Mr. Sur, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State and it has been informed that Mr. Jayanta Narayan Chatterjee, learned advocate is representing on behalf of the respondent. Taking into account the observations made above, the revisional application being, C.R.R. 1623 of 2021 is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, are consequently dismissed.
