By the order impugned, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Burdwan directed the petitioner no. 1 to pay maintenance of Rs. 1,000/- per month in favour of his wife/opposite party no. 2. Petitioner no. 1 was further directed to pay Rs. 10,000/- as compensation, for mental and physical injury caused by the petitioners. A maintenance of Rs. 1,000/- per month is too low to interfere with in exercise of revisional jurisdiction of this Court. Learned Magistrate sufficiently explained the reasons for granting Rs. 10,000/- in favour of the wife/opposite party no. 2 as compensation.

I do not find any reason to interfere with the order impugned. Accordingly, CRR 1879 of 2009 is disposed of without any interference with the order of the learned Magistrate.
