It has been submitted that three of the witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution and the date has been fixed on 20.05.2023 for further evidence of three other witnesses. The present case commenced in the year 1998 and the present petitioner is suffering for the last 25 years. Without going into the merits of the case at this belated stage, I direct the Superintendent of Police, Purulia to monitor the present case so that witnesses are available on the date so fixed by the court.

The learned Magistrate, in seisin of the matter, would on and from 20.05.2023, fix date at least once in a fortnight and complete the evidence of all the witnesses preferably by 30.09.2023. The learned Magistrate would thereafter fix dates for examination under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure adducing defence evidence and final argument of

the case. The final verdict must be pronounced by the learned Magistrate on or before 20.11.2023.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1634 of 2021 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

A copy of this order be sent to the District Judge, Purulia who would see to it that the Superintendent of Police, Purulia complies with the order of this Court. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
