1. Instruction forwarded by the Assistant Director of Health Services (Administration), Director of Health Services, Government of West Bengal signed on 19th June, 2026 filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. It appears therefrom that there are seven posts of Medical Technologist (ECG) vacant on account of non-joining of the recommended candidates.

3. It has also been brought to the notice of the Court that the Recruitment Board is non-functional at present as the Chairman of the Board has tendered resignation.

4. The petitioners seek appointment in the posts which have remained vacant on account of non-joining of the recommended candidates.

5. The instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the Board to take a decision with regard to the filling up of the vacant posts in accordance with law.

6. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
