Ms. Sreyasree Choudhury ... for the petitioner Ms. Srabani Biswas ... for the State Ms. Sreyasree Choudhury, Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a typographical mistake in the order dated 31st July, 2025 and he prays for correction of the same. On perusal of the order dated 31st July, 2025, it is revealed that in paragraph 4 instead of "I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal as also the concerned Treasury Officer to pay interest to the writ petitioner @ 8% per annum on the gratuity and arrear pension amount calculated from 01.12.2026 till the date of payment." in the order, it should be read as "I direct the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal as also the concerned Treasury Officer to pay interest to the writ petitioner @ 8% per annum on the gratuity and arrear pension amount calculated from 01.02.1997 till the date of payment."

The other portion of the order dated 31st July, 2024 shall remain the same.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
