Md. Nauroz Rahber Muhammad Jourwad ... for the petitioner Heard learned counsel for the petitioner at length. The petitioner claims to have applied under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme before the concerned authority for sanction of fund for constructing a house. The petitioner further claims that the concerned authority after according the sanction for release of the funds in favour of the petitioner the concerned authority did not ultimately release the funds in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted a representation which was received by the Block Development Officer, Goalpokher I Development Block, Uttar Dinajpur on 26.02.2019 but no decision has been communicated to the petitioner till date. This Court is of the considered view that the interest of justice would be sub-served if a direction is passed upon the Block Development Officer, Goalpokher I Development Block, Uttar Dinajpur, respondent no. 4 herein, to consider the representation of the petitioner which was received by the said respondent on 26.02.2019.

Accordingly, the respondent no. 4 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner submitted on 26.02.2019 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative and to communicate the same to the petitioner immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order alongwith a copy of the representation received by the respondent no. 4 on 26.02.2019.

With the above directions, the instant writ petition stands disposed of, however, without any order as to costs.
