Santra.............for State This writ petition is filed, inter alia, seeking permission for allowing the writ petitioner to participate in the selection process for appointment in the post of Primary Teacher which was initiated pursuant to the notification dated December 23, 2020 issued by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

The petitioner's grievance is that the admit card was issued in favour of the writ petitioner in connection with Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) 2012, but the result of TET-2012 was not published.

It is the contention of the writ petitioner that in the event petitioner would have been declared successful in TET-2012, he could have offered her candidature pursuant to the notification dated December 23, 2020

issued by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education for filling up post of Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools. Mr. K. Choudhury, learned advocate appears on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education and submits that pursuant to the notification dated December 23, 2020 which was issued for filling up the posts of Assistant Teacher in Primary School selection procedure has already been completed and appointments are being made in favour of the selected candidates and there is no scope for considering the prayer of the writ petitioner as sought for.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties to this writ petition, this court finds that since the selection process in terms of the notification of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education dated December 23, 2020 has been completed and appointments are being made from the panel prepared on the basis of such selection; since the writ petition has been filed in the month of August 2021 prior to which the said selection process is over, there is no scope of intervention by this court on consideration of the prayer made in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. There will be no order as costs.
