Records of the writ petition reflect that last of the representation was made on 1st March, 2023. More than two years have passed in the meantime.

The subject-matter of the writ petition related to the fact that the RC Book and other necessary documents were not handed over by the respondent no.4 to the petitioner.

On the other hand, learned advocate for the respondent no.4, submits

that they are simply the financer(s), which is disputed by the petitioners.

However, learned advocate for the State submits a report which reflects that the vehicle is in the custody of the police authorities and because of non-production of necessary document(s), the vehicle could not be handed over to the petitioners.

Since the vehicle is lying for more than eight years, the petitioners would approach the police authorities with a fresh representation along with the documents which they have in their possession. The police authorities would consider the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 12278 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. A copy of the report be

handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioners.
